LEADERSHIP
Meet Our Leadership Vice PresidentHi friends! My name is Mia Racine (she/they) and I'm the Leadership Vice President for the Fall 2025 semester! I am a 3rd year Psychology major with double minors in Counseling & Social Change and Anthropology.
Leadership is important to me because not only does it encompass professional and career goals, but personal development as well. To me, this cardinal principle embodies the ability to inspire Brothers to active their goals through active listening, empathy, and dedication to what they love. |
What does Leadership mean to APO?
Leadership is a core principle of Alpha Phi Omega. It is the first cardinal principle of APO that we tell everyone about. Leadership at Alpha Delta is focused in on developing and growing our Brothers’ professional and leadership abilities. We do this through participating in workshops that are held by Career Services, Student Life & Leadership, as well as by our own Brothers.
How do our Brothers lead?
Leadership takes many different forms in the Alpha Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. For starters, the traditional form of leadership takes place through our Brothers serving on Executive Board. However, leadership goes much further than that. Brothers are able to develop their leadership skills through attendance at participatory workshops - some examples of which are: open forums, career & professional development, & public speaking. Even further, Brothers are able to lead by chairing events, participating on various committees, & even by simply taking initiative to help our chapter grow.
