FRIENDSHIP
What does Friendship mean to APO?
Friendship is another one of the core principles of Alpha Phi Omega. Friendship is not based solely on pledge classes and titles. Rather, friendship within Alpha Phi Omega is defined by Brotherhood. Brotherhood is the shared link between each & every member of APO. Whether you're pledging as a first year or a fourth year, a transfer student or a grad student, Brotherhood uniquely positions the Brothers of our chapter to form lasting bonds & create unforgettable experiences with one another, disregarding antiquated barriers such as age or class standing.
What does Friendship look like in APO?
The fraternal values of love & respect for one another are what guide the unforgettable experiences we create as Brothers. Our fellowship events come in many different shapes & sizes, but the one common tie among them is the ability to branch out, meet new people, & enjoy life together. From trying new coffee shops & food places, to chilling at the beach & playing games, to enduring late-night studying & having heart-to-hearts - our wide range of fellowship events are sure to cater to every person's desires.
MESSAGE FROM THE FELLOWSHIP VICE PRESIDENT
My name is Jessica Phan and I am the Fellowship Vice President for the Spring 2020 semester. For this semesters’s Fellowship Program I would like to incorporate more personalized fellowships geared more towards people’s interests and hobbies. Less of going out to boba places to sit and just talk, I’d like to have more interactive fellowships to get more people from different classes, ages, and backgrounds to interact more. And in order to unify the different classes and groups we have in APO I’d like to help different kinds of people get together and interact through hobby/interest based fellowships.
